Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Classes meet weekly during the school year. Whether you are curious about God, interested in the Bible, or a Bible scholar, Community Bible Study offers a caring, welcoming place to explore together.

Members receive a course book with commentaries and home study questions. Each week, enjoy small group discussion and large group teaching time focused on practical, daily application of what you have read as well as real-life faith stories to encourage you. We seek to build community, while learning more about God's Word.

We are currently studying book of Psalms is a collection of poems, songs and prayers inspired by the Holy Spirit. Each psalm expressed the highs and lows of life for the Israelites. Even today, they put words to the emotions God's people experience as they try to live for Him in the world.

For the 2026- 2027 school year, we will be studying the book of Colossians and Genesis 1-22. Registration for next year is now OPEN!

Currently Studying: Psalms

The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present. The word psalms in Hebrew means "praises" or "praise songs."

For Fall 2026, we will start with the book of Colossians, and then dive into Genesis chapters 1-22.

Next Gen Ministry

Infant through teens: Through solid Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children through teens can learn about God's wonderful love for them. School- aged children will study the Psalms just like the adult classes. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry.
